Commonly know has Clark's Clownfish, or the Yellowtail Clownfish. It has a red to brown body with an orange to yellow face and tail. It has three vertical white bars. A member of the damselfish family. Known to be hardy. The Clarkii Clownfish will not tolerate other species of clownfish. Best kept one per tank unless its a mated pair. In the wild it will choose Heteractis crispa, Heteractis magnifica, Stichodactyla haddoni, or Entacmaea quadricolor as a host anemone. Clownfish do not require a host anemone, and will do just fine without, provided there is some form of shelter. The diet of the Clarkii Clownfish should consist of fresh or frozen seafoods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and other meaty items.
