Snowflake Moray Eel 6-10 in. (Echidna nebulosa)

Snowflake Moray Eel 6-10 in. (Echidna nebulosa)
The Snowflake Eel is also known as the Clouded Moray Eel, or the Starry Moray. It has a white and black blotched body with yellow spots. The Snowflake Moray is one of the most popular eels in saltwater aquariums. This is due to its beauty, smaller maximum size, and reputation of being less aggressive than other moray eels. The Snowflake Eel is very hardy, and can be kept with other eels.

The Snowflake Moray is best kept in a tank with a secure lid and plenty of hiding spots. This animal spends most of its time in hiding with only its head exposed. May eat other fish that are small enough to fit in its mouth, as well as a variety of crustaceans.

Diet should include large meaty items such as krill, squid, and clams.
