Best kept in a species specific tank with low flow and calm tank mates. Should be kept in small groups. Provide live rock to graze on. Macro algae will provide shelter and places to hold on to, as well as help with water quality. Will often breed in home aquariums.

Diet should consist of live or frozen brine and mysis shrimp.
