Also know as Scalefin Anthias, or the Sea Goldie. The females are yellow while the males are red with distinct single red dot on each pectoral fin. In the wild this fish feeds on zooplankton and floating algae.

Best kept in groups of one male to several females. The Jewel Lyretail Anthias are active fish, making great aquarium dwellers.

Diet should include mysis, brine shrimp, and other meaty foods. Supplement their diet with zooplankton.
