An active and peaceful fish. Provide plenty of hiding places. Does best when kept with other community tank mates. May be shy at first, but will quickly acclimate to its surroundings and spend more time out in the open. Does not require a sand bed. Can be kept in groups.

Diet should consist of fresh or frozen seafood such as mysis and brine shrimp, high quality flake food, and other small meaty items.
